UMRHN’s annual workshop for school nurses and social workers is planned for October 14, 2024. This will be in-person at The Gateway Conference Center in Richburg at 3200 Commerce Dr., Richburg, SC 29729. There is a virtual option, but you must attend LIVE to get the CEUs. No recordings will be available. CEUs are available through Mid-Carolina AHEC (please see below for the full credit statement). Registration is open now and closes on October 4, 2024. Participants can register and pay with a credit card on Event Brite. For those paying by check, please complete a registration form. If your employer is listed on our members page, you can receive the in-network price. Please contact Karen for that special registration form – knichols (at) umrhn.org.

Credit Statements for this activity:

AHEC:This program is approved for 0.6 CEU’s (6.0 clock hours) of continuing education by Mid-Carolina AHEC, Inc. and meets the SC AHEC Continuing Education Best Practice Standards. Participants must attend 90% of the program to receive a certificate of attendance.No partial credit will be given.

COUNSELORS & THERAPISTS: This program has been pre-approved for 6.0 hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.

NURSING: Mid-Carolina AHEC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by South Carolina Nurses Association an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This nursing continuing education activity approval # 2408-010PR-002 has been approved for 6.0 hours.

SOCIAL WORKERS: This program has been approved by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners for 1.5 clock hours of social work and 4.5 clock hours of NON-social work continuing education.
